Oysters and Dancing!
Two of my favouritist things in the world!
Rodney's Oyster Bar
Some of the best oysters I've ever had! Mmmmmmm! Freshly shucked and we had a choice of about 6-7 different varieties.
A selection of the sauces that came with the oysters. Our oyster shucker (you can see his hand in the background) was also quite entertaining.
Dancing
Did a West Coast Swing workshop on Saturday. The teachers, Myles and Tessa (see pic below), were excellent! They're ranked #1 in Canada and #3 in the world and were fabulous teachers as well as being phenomenal dancers.
If you're interested in seeing them dance some west coast swing ... go to www.canadianswing.com, click on "see us dance", then "video 2005 seattle easter swing". And that's their social dancing (as opposed to being a choreographed showcase routine)! It's such a shame that WCS isn't well known, or danced much outside of North America.
