The Story of Vrisaki
Once upon a time (well, February 2000), young Linh went to visit her sister who was living in London at the time.
Whilst there, upon the recommendation of her (Greek) work colleague, Linh's sister took her to a restaurant called Vrisaki for a fabulous Meze meal. They were supplied with plate ... after plate ... after plate ... of delicious Greek food, and left almost unable to move. And Linh vowed to one day return to this wonderful place.
Fast forward 6 years ... (and with a switch to 1st person narrative to avoid overuse of writing about oneself in 3rd person) ... Whilst back in Perth recently for CNY, my sis and I happened to be going through some pics and stumbled across one of us standing outside Vriski. Wrote down the name of the restaurant (which i had forgotten), and upon returning to London persuaded my flatmates to accompany me to this place (which is a bit of a trek, being a +30 min train ride from central London.
We (the four of us, plus 2 friends) all agreed it was more than worth the trip. And also that we should have prepared ourselves with pre-meal, stomach expanding warm-ups.We counted approx 60 plates of food served in total (the pic below is ONLY the starters).

This was follow by plates of seafood (including whole fish, prawns, mussels and calamari) and hot grilled meats (quail, lamb, chicken, sausages).
Another pic outside the restaurant ... happy and satisfied ... and really really really full!

Hey Linh, Vrisaki does bring back good memories. Have not found a meze place like it anywhere else.
Love the pics!
