Around Town
February was largely been a non-travel month. But somehow have been busy as ever doing things around town ...
My weekly schedule of activities include ...
- dancing 3/4 times a week (ballet on Mondays, salsa on Wednesdays and Sunday, jazz ballet on Saturdays)
- body balance or pilates in the morning at least once a week
- lunchtime gym session once a week
- weekly spanish class on Thurs nights
(... oh yeah, and then there's work, which is going well, but is not particularly interesting to write about so won't get into it ...)

Darran's 26th B'day
Finally managed to attend a Darran b'day celebration (since it falls in Feb, am usually
travelling), but this year we happen to be in the same city (albeit halfway around the word)!
Held at Too2Much, a part-time theatre and gay nightclub (they do cabaret shows there I think) in Soho, a great time was had by all ...

"It's all about me!"
Covent Garden
Was late for a saturday dance class one day, so decided to wander around Covent Garden to kill some time. Stumbled across a fabulous string quartet (Abraxas String Quartet) and so ended up sitting and having a coffee (and later buying their CD).
Whoddunnit?
Was invited along to a murder mystery night hosted by Woody (good friend of May/Ming/Matt/Dan). Theme was "post-Oscars" so the guys had to wear black tie and dinner jackets, and gals in evening dresses or in character. I have to say, men should wear black ties more often! Unfortunately, was too busy socialising and being "in character" (I was a successful hollywood producer who's husband (an actor) had just been murdered) to take loads of pics.
After the mystery was solved ... there were games to be played ... (my type
of party), including ...
Some game where you had to catch a fuzzy ball by the velcro on a very silly
looking velcro hat contraption.
Monkeys ... a drinking game where you had to take a drink for every monkey
that fell to the bottom of the tube
May came around (from another party) later that evening
Making Goi Cuon at home
Made Goi Cuon for flatmates and respective boyfriends ... well, prepared
the ingredients and showed every how it was done ... from then it became
a DIY affair.
