Abn Amro Staff Christmas Party
Weds 7th was the night of the Abn Amro Staff Christmas Party.
Picture this: Hundreds (quite possibly over 1000) staff in the one building (big converted warehouse) with great food and unlimited quantities of free alchohol. The venue was quite nicely done, consisting of lots of different rooms with different themes - e.g. India, Egypt, Paris etc as well as a "games room" (think massive connect fours, basketball shooting hoops etc) and gambling room.
Interestingly, many of the staff in central finance at ABN Amro (and many of the other big banks in London) are contractors, most of whom are either from Australia, New Zealand or South Africa. For example, in the photo above (left to right) - myself, Bridget (from South Africa), Camlinh (from Sydney), Lance (from South Africa) and Pam (from New Zealand).

Yep, that's a REAL snake wrapped around my neck.
