High Tea and visiting The Queen

Went High Tea-ing again last Saturday. This time to the The Caramel Room at The Berkeley Hotel. Am determined to eventually visit all the fancy afternoon tea places in London. They were serving a special Prêt-à-Portea menu, which consisted of treats such as 'Gucci bikini biscuit', 'Dolce & Gabbana tropical éclair', and 'Alice Temperley blueberry and apple mousse with Manolo Blahnik high heel tuille'.

Check out the Paul Smith designed tea set ... so pretty!

K&L and msyelf stayed over that Reen's that night for some Sex & the City watching - Reen has all 6 seasons. Ended up staying up til 4am ... that show be so addictive!

The next morning after some yummy (and cheap!) dim sum in Canary Wharf a group of us went and did the 'Royal Day Out' tour at
Buckingham Palace. The tour consisted of a visit to the State Rooms, The Queen's Gallery and the Royal Mews. Quite touristy, but interesting and worth doing once.

P.S. Though we didn't actually have an audience with The Queen, she was "at home" (we knew cos the flag was up).
