Proms in the Park
Sat 10th Sept ... went to Proms in the Park... basically an outdoor concert in Hyde Park with various artists and bands, a great excuse for a picnic, as well as a chance for shameless flag-waving by the Brits.
Absolute highlight of the event was Andrea Bocelli. He's got such an incredible voice, clear and strong ... sounded just like he does in his CDs (only better of course, cos he was right there in front of us!). Thanks to Sonia & Yang (who got there early), we had great spots near the stage, so I got to see him (relatively) up close and personal.
