Actual people this time

This is my Spanish teacher, Jimena. Disclaimer: my lessons are at 9am-11am every morning, so neither of us are at our very best :)

Jimena's my age and also teaches at the University in the afternoon. She's a fantastic teacher, so if you happen to be in need of a Spanish teacher in Buenos Aires, you should definitely look her up.

Look who I met!
Got home from dancing the other night and wandered into the end part of a dinner party that that Oscar & Norma were hosting. It happened to be the post-dinner group-singing and dancing (tango, of course) part of the night. After having a bit of a dance, Oscar took a snap of me with ... wait for it ... Alicia Kirchner, the President Néstor Kirchner's sister! She's the Minister for Social Development.

Okay, so she's not a movie star, but she would probably qualify as the most famous/important person I've met so far on my trip.
