In the City of Tango
I have arrived safe and sound today in Buenos Aires. I'm staying at Tango Hogar, a guesthouse in San Telmo. The place is great.
There's a practice floor for dancing ...

... and a free broadband internet connection for my laptop! No more weird south american keyboards at internet cafes!
Did you know ... ?
That they use the same plugs here in Argentina as in Oz!
The black plug is my laptop directly plugged in without the aid of an adaptor ... and note the three prongs on the toaster plug!

Spent the afternoon wandering around the Sunday market in Plaza Dorrego, which is about 4 blocks away. Was quite interesting, with lots of antique stalls and street performers. Actually had a bit of a dance with a street performer ... in hiking shoes and all! Tomorrow I will be heading out in search of both Spanish and Tango classes, and, of course, tango shoes!
